Synopsis

Dans le cadre d’un appel à projets, un groupe d’habitants de Saint-Gilles se réunit pour créer un potager collectif en ville, à deux pas de la gare du Midi, derrière les petits appartements de la Cité Fontainas. Tourné en super 8, le film suit les premières semences et la rencontre entre jardiniers et habitants. In the context of a call for projects, a group of Brussels inhabitants united to create a city vegetable garden.

The project proved considerably more difficult to set up than first imagined; as the only ground available was in a densely populated area.
Shot in Super 8, the film tracks the first planting of seeds and an encounter between the gardeners and the local residents.
